PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Gordon College women's soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-0 win at Johnson & Wales Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Scots snagged a 1-0 edge in the 27th minute. Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) buried her second goal of the season and 48th tally of her career while Julia Evans (Phoenixville, Pa.) collected her first assist of the fall.
- Gordon's defense withstood a second-half offensive push by Johnson & Wales to preserve the 1-0 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) led all players with eight shot attempts in the contest while Julia Evans (Phoenixville, Pa.) added a pair of shots.
- Between the pipes, sophomore Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) registered six saves to notch her second-consecutive clean sheet.
- Gordon finished the match with 12 shots while Johnson & Wales fired 14 shot attempts.
