KEENE, N.H.- The Gordon College women's soccer team topped Keene State 2-1 to earn its first win of the fall Sunday to conclude action at the Keene State Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Owls raced out to an early 1-0 lead with a goal in the fourth minute.
- Gordon responded with a strike in the 24th minute to knot the contest at 1-1. Liana Hanley (San Diego, Calif.) notched her first goal of the season as Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) picked up an assist.
- The Fighting Scots buried the go-ahead goal in the 77th minute to snag a 2-1 edge as Jade LaBossier (Bellevue, Wash.) collected her first tally of the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) paced the visitors with seven shot attempts while Liana Hanley (San Diego, Calif.) fired a pair of shots.
- Rookie goalkeepers Madison Amati (Whitinsville, Mass.) and Ava Cote (Hooksett, N.H.) both made their collegiate debuts in the match and registered two saves each.
- The Fighting Scots finished with 11 shots while the Owls managed 14 shot attempts.
