Lauren Wolfinger

Lauren Wolfinger signed on as an assistant coach at Gordon prior to the 2014-2015 season. She came to Gordon after playing three years under former Gordon coach, Corey Laster, at the University of Colorado– Colorado Springs (UCCS) and serving as his assistant for the 2013-2014 season.

A four-time captain at UCCS, Wolfinger helped lead the Mountain Lions from just six wins her first year to a program-best 19 wins by her senior season. She was named to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Third Team in 2011 and 2013 as well as to the RMAC All- Academic Team from 2011-2013. Off the court, she was a member of the UCCS Student Athlete Advisory Committee and UCCS Leadership Committee, participated in the NCAA Leadership Forum in 2012, and was selected to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) "So You Want To Be A Coach" program in 2014.

Wolfinger graduated with honors from UCCS in May of 2013 with a degree in communications and with a M. Ed in athletic administration from Endicott in August of 2016.
