In additional being named CCC Pitcher of the Week, Wes Arning is this week's Chick-fil-a Athlete of the Week!

Arning pitched a complete game to help Gordon Baseball to its first win over Endicott since early in the 2011 season.

Arning has been an anchor for the Fighting Scots pitching staff over the last two seasons, going 9-4 in 19 appearances since the start of his junior season. The right-hander has provided the Scots with two of its biggest wins this season, victories over Western New England and Endicott. On Saturday, Arning held the Gulls to only one run over seven innings of work as Gordon handed Endicott with its first conference loss of 2015.

He is currently 2-2 this season with a 3.65 ERA in four starts. Arning also became the all-time wins leader at Gordon on Saturday with 12 career victories.
