Gordon College Athletics

Freshman Tyler Modzeleski (Cazenovia, N.Y.) is this week's Gordon Athlete of the Week after being the hero of the Commonwealth Coast Conference championship game. The forward scored two first-half goals to lead the Scots to the 2-0 win and helped them clinch a spot in the NCAA tournament. 

Modzeleski won CCC Offensive Player of the Week and ECAC New England Rookie of the Week for his efforts. Heading into the national tournament, he is second on the team with seven goals—three of which have come since the end of the regular season. 

Gordon plays Carnegie Mellon on Saturday evening at Franklin & Marshall University.
