Gordon freshman Garrisson Duviver (Brockton, Mass.) became the second Fighting Scot to win a Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week award this season. The conference named Duvivier the Rookie of the Week after he averaged a double-double in a three-game week for the Scots, including a monster performance at Penn College on Friday.
 
Duviver has teamed up with Sam Johnson (Chatham, Mass.) to become a formidable scoring tandem in the low post for Gordon this season. Despite losing all-program player Hans Miersma to graduation, Gordon's duo is among the national leaders in double-doubles and they are both top five in rebounds in the CCC this season.
 
The freshman was limited to just 10 points and 10 boards in a loss to Eastern Nazarene to kick off the week. However, with Gordon's perimeter offense struggling at Penn College, Duvivier dominated the game to the tune of 27 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three block to help deliver a much-needed victory. The forward also had a double-double in a loss to Lycoming on Saturday.
