Senior shortstop Alex Smith (Wethersfield, Conn.) had four hits to lead Gordon to a 7-6 win over host WPI last week to earn Gordon's Athlete of the Week. Smith hit his second dinger of the season and drove in the winning run in the sixth inning to push the Scots to 6-5 this season.
