Gordon Track & Field captain Schuyler Anderson (Jr./Melbourne, Fla.) turned in another record-setting performance at the University of Southern Maine Invitational in Gorham, Maine this past Saturday, pacing the Fighting Scots' effort at the midway point of their indoor schedule.
Anderson took second overall in the men’s weight throw, establishing a new personal and school record with a 14.78m toss, four feet longer than his previous record. In so doing he qualified for the New England Regional Championships set for February 18.
He is currently tied for 15th among all New England Division III weight throw competitors and ranks 97th nationally.
The Scots return to action on Saturday, February 4 as they travel to nearby Medford, Mass. for the Tufts Invitational.
