Gordon College junior forward Lauren Kranyak (Locust Grove, Va.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week for her efforts in leading the Fighting Scots to a pair of wins in the Gordon Tip-Off Tournament on Nov. 16-17.

Hosting Newbury College on opening night, Kranyak recorded a game-high 24 points to go with 10 rebounds in pacing the Scots' 56-45 non-conference win. She then followed that up with a 23-point, 15-rebound double-double in a 64-56 overtime championship win over New England College on Saturday.

Overall, Kranyak shot 43.9 percent from the floor, 72.7 percent from the line, and averaged 12.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 4.0 steals per game.
