Gordon College freshman Zack Hall (Sugarland, Texas) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week and Gordon's Athlete of the Week after a pair of banner outings on the courts for the Fighting Scots.

In a two-match week for Gordon, Hall defeated non-conference Bridgewater State's Wesley Esthimer 6-1, 6-4 at No.1 singles and teamed up with Kenny Gaudio (Jr./Miller Place, N.Y.) at No. 1 doubles to record an 8-6 decision over Esthimer and Jesse Gotlib.

Despite a 7-2 team loss at the hands of CCC opponent Endicott College on April 4, Hall registered one of the two wins on the day for the Scots, downing the Gulls' Olivier Joggi 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1.

Overall on the season, he is 9-2 in individual action and 6-5 in doubles play.
