Cory Ward

Cory Ward began his tenure as the Associate Athletic Director for Operations And Compliance in June of 2023.

Ward began his tenure as the head coach of the Fighting Scots field hockey team in the fall of 2000. He previously served as an assistant AD before being promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Operations in the Summer of 2020.

Ward also previously served as the head coach of the women’s lacrosse program, a post he held from 2002-2006 and 2011-2014. After taking over the women's lacrosse program in 2002, Ward led the Scots to four TCCC Championship appearances for three conference titles (2002, 2003, 2005), the latter two of which earned the Scots bids into the NCAA Division III tournament. Coach Ward coached four players to CCC Player of the Year distinctions and several others to All-Conference honors.

He also served on the national Division III field hockey committee from 2011 through 2015.

Education
B.A. in accounting (1998) and a B.A. in youth ministries (2000) from Gordon College.

Family
Cory and his wife, Melanie, reside in Wenham, Mass. with their four children, Joshua, Emily, Nathanael and Abigail.
