The Fighting Scots commanded an 8-1 win over Roger Williams University tonight in an unofficial Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup with the Hawks' club field hockey team.

Though the statistics for the game do not count towards the overall numbers for the season, that did not stop the Scots from flexing their offensive muscle with four goals in each half en route to the dominant seven-goal win.

Leading the charge for the Scots was Brittany Hawkins (So./Hampstead, N.H.) with two goals, while Katherine Bailey (So./Baltimore, Md.), Karli Balmer (So./Perkasie, Pa.), Mindy Fowler (Sr./Winslow, Maine), Anna Hadorn (Fr./Leominster, Mass.), Collette Newcombe (Fr./Rowley, Mass.), and Lisa Richardson (Jr./Reading, Mass.) recorded a goal apiece on the night.

The Scots return to conference play on Saturday, Oct. 6 as they host Western New England on Gordon's Homecoming at 11 a.m.
