Match Results
HILTON HEAD, S.C. — The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team defeated the Fighting Scots 8-1 in an early tip on Tuesday morning. The Scots dropped their second straight match during their annual trip to South Carolina, one day after falling in a close 6-3 match to Heidelberg. The Yellow Jackets improved to 9-1 on the year just one day after losing their first ever match in Hilton Head.

The Yellow Jackets led 3-0 after doubles play as the number one tandem of sophomores Peter Harris and Doug Ganim won, 8-2, over Kenny Gaudio (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Zach Hall (Sugarland, Texas). No. 2 duo of junior Kyle Patterson and senior Brad Minrovic won handily, 8-0. No.3 tandem of freshman Jake Liebler and senior Dan Rowsey won five games in deuce and pulled away from Dan Christensen (Attleboro, Mass.) and Dan Dufoe (Malvern, Pa.).

In singles action, Ganim won at No.2 by the scores of 6-3 and 6-1, freshman Nathan Katz won at No.3 by the scores of 6-3 and 6-0; junior Letch Radomirov narrowly claimed victory over Richie Armand (Hempstead, N.Y.)  at No. 4 by a 4-6, 6-2 and 10-3 count; Liebler won at No.5 by a 6-1 and 6-2 score; and freshman Brian Carano won at No. 6 by the scores of 6-0 and 6-4 over freshman Daniel Alvarado (Bedford, N.H.)—Alvarado's first collegiate match.

Hall picked up an easy straight-set victory at the first flight to notch Gordon's only point on the day. The sophomore aced his way through Harris, 6-2, 6-1 and improved to 3-0 in singles this season.

Gordon is back in action tomorrow morning at 11:30 in hopes of getting their first win of the spring against Juniata College.
