th overall finish in the NCAA New England Championships on Saturday. Junior Emily Nelson (West Chester, Pa.) was Gordon's top runner on the women's side in 98
th.

NESCAC teams dominated the top 10 of the race, as expected coming into the day. Amherst's Mohamed Hussein took the crown by three seconds over Williams' Bijan Mazaheri. Williams got the last laugh with the overall men's victory by a single points over their conference foes.

Kilgore was the second best non NESCAC or NEWMAC runner in the race with a time of 25:33.7 in the five mile race. The sophomore will have to await results from other races and the selections before finding out his fate for the national championship race later this month.

The Scot men took 35
th overall of 55 teams competing in the event.

The Gordon women fared better in the team event with a 25
th-place finish, as Nelson led the way in the top 100. Mariah Geiger (Londonderry, N.H.) also had a solid race with a pace of 6:29 and a place of 137.

Williams also took home the women's title to clinch a spot at nationals.Â
