WATERFORD, Conn. — Damon Kilgore ran at the Connecticut College Invitational and placed third overall.

Kilgore ran the 8k race in a season-best 25:08. Grant O'Connor from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute won the race in 24:32. RPI also won the team title with 55 points.

The Fighting Scots next compete at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championships hosted by the University of New England Oct. 28. The men's race will start at 1 p.m.
