DUDLEY, Mass. — Gordon traveled to play Nichols in CCC play and allowed 21 points off turnovers in its 100-86 loss.
The Fighting Scots (1-3, 0-2 CCC) started the game on a 25-18 run for a seven-point lead. The Bison (5-1, 2-0 CCC) cut the lead down to one with a 20-14 run. They closed out the half with a 14-6 run to make it 52-44 at halftime.
Eric Demers scored 17 points and pulled in one rebound in the first half.
Jaren Yang scored nine points and handed out one assist.
Garrisson Duvivier scored six points, pulled in seven rebounds, dished out five assists, and recorded two steals.
In the second half, Nichols stretched the lead out to 22 with a 32-18 run in the first ten minutes of the half. Gordon cut the deficit to 13 points with a 15-6 run, but that would be the closest the game would get as the Bison closed the game with a 9-9 run to seal the win.
Demers finished with 25 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Yang scored 12 points and dished out four assists. Duvivier handed out a team-high five assists and also grabbed 13 rebounds, scored 12 points, and recorded three steals.
The Fighting Scots will next host Curry in CCC action Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
