DUDLEY, Mass. — Gordon traveled to play Nichols in CCC action and shot 27.4 percent from the field in its 59-51 loss.

The Bison (2-2, 1-1 CCC) started the game with a 12-5 run for an early seven-point lead. They stretched out the lead to nine before the Fighting Scots (2-4, 0-2 CCC) cut the lead back to seven with a 7-5 run to close out the first quarter. Gordon outscored Nichols 12-6 to cut the deficit to one with 3:47 left in the second quarter. They scored four more points in the quarter to make it a 28-27 game going into halftime.

Abby Vampatella grabbed ten rebounds, scored five points, and recorded two steals in the first half. Olivia Stark scored five points and had one rebound. Imani Lennon scored five points and pulled in two rebounds.

The Bison regained the lead by scoring four straight points to start off the third quarter. The Fighting Scots took a six-point lead with a 14-5 run before Nichols scored five points in the final 1:32 of the quarter to leave Gordon with a 43-41 lead entering the fourth quarter. The Bison tied the game with a 4:28 remaining before closing out the game with a 10-2 run.

Meghan Foley scored all ten of her points in the second half and also finished with five rebounds and two assists. Vampatella grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds and also had eight points and two steals. Stark scored eight points and dished out two assists.

The Fighting Scots next host Curry in CCC play Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
