WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon recorded a season-high 63 kills in its 3-2 win against Suffolk.
The Fighting Scots (9-5) won the first set 25-14. The Rams (5-4) won the second set 25-23. Gordon won the fourth set 25-16 and Suffolk won the fourth set 25-19 to send the game to the fifth set.
In the fifth set, the Fighting Scots went on a 5-0 run to start the set. The Rams cut the deficit to one before Gordon went on a 9-5 run to seal the victory.
Amanda Snyder had 19 kills and nine digs.
Mackenzie Hinds recorded a double-double with 18 kills and 12 digs.
Jamie Tafoya had 12 kills and six aces.
Ashlyn Gergins tallied 44 assists and six digs.
Jenny Curtiss tied for the team lead in digs with 12.
The Fighting Scots next host Western New England Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
