WATERVILLE, Maine — Gordon put nine shots on goal in its 1-0 win against Colby.
The Fighting Scots (5-4) got on the board in the seventh minute as
Josh Beveridge scored his first goal of the season. He scored the goal off a pass from
David Cochran who received a pass from
Noah Craig. The Mules (3-3-1) were held to two shots in the first half.
In the second half, Gordon put four of its five shots on goal. Colby put four shots on goal, but none found the back of the net.
Wesley Sprague recorded four saves and faced eight shots.
The Fighting Scots next host Curry Sept. 30 at 3 p.m. for its Homecoming game.
