SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Gordon only attempted 6 shots in its 3-0 loss to Springfield.
The Pride (2-0) scored their first goal in the sixth minute of the game. They added another goal in the 12
th minute and scored their third goal of the half in the 34
th minute. The Fighting Scots (1-2) only attempted one shot in the first half.
Gordon attempted five shots in the second half, but only one was on goal and they could not get any past the keeper.
Wesley Sprague had a career-high ten saves.
The Fighting Scots next travel to face Washington College in their first game of the Dickinson Tournament Sept. 9 at 2:30 p.m.
