PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Gordon had 15 kills in its 3-0 loss to Johnson & Wales in its first game of the JWU Invitational.
The Wildcats (5-0), who are receiving votes in the NCAA Division III Top 25 poll, won the first set 25-8, the second set 25-18, and the third set 25-13.
Mackenzie Hinds led the Fighting Scots (2-3) with seven kills and had six digs.
Amanda Snyder had four kills and eight digs.
Ashlyn Gergins recorded ten assists, six digs, and one kill.
Jenny Curtiss led the team with eight digs.
Gordon next plays Wesleyan in its second game of the JWU Invitational at 8 p.m.
