WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Eastern Nazarene in CCC action and forced 22 turnovers in its 71-53 win.

The Fighting Scots (3-8, 1-3 CCC) outscored the Lions (7-4, 1-3 CCC) 15-8 in the first quarter for an early seven-point lead. Eastern Nazarene cut the deficit down to four points with a 6-3 run. Gordon stretched the lead out to 14 points with a 16-6 run to make it 34-20 at halftime.

Meghan Foley scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds, and recorded two steals in the first half. Jess Ryan scored four points and had one assists and one rebound.

In the second half, the Lions scored five straight points to cut the lead down to nine points. The Fighting Scots responded by going on a 20-9 to stretch the lead out to 20 points. They extended the lead to 27 points before Eastern Nazarene cut the deficit down to 18 points with a 14-5 to close out the game.

Foley finished with a double-double as she scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Jenna Olson scored eight points, pulled in four rebounds, and recorded two steals. Sarah Gibbs grabbed nine rebounds, scored eight points, and recorded three steals.

Gordon next travels to play Wentworth in CCC play Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
