BEVERLY, Mass. — Gordon traveled to play Endicott in Commonwealth Coast Conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium and shot 33.3 percent from the field in its 73-54 loss.
The Gulls (12-9, 10-4 CCC) started the game with a 14-4 run for a ten-point lead. They stretched the lead out to 22 points with a 25-17 run to make it a 39-17 game at halftime. Â They shot 51.9 percent from the floor in the first half and held the Fighting Scots (8-14, 6-9 CCC) to a 14.7 percent shooting percentage.
Meghan Foley scored eight points and grabbed four points in the first half.
Jess Ryan scored four points and pulled in one rebound.
In the second half, Gordon outscored Endicott 37-34 and shot 57.7 percent from the floor. They also outrebounded the Gulls 20-12 in the half.
Foley finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.
Sarah Gibbs scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds while
Brooke Dyson scored seven points.
The Fighting Scots next take on Eastern Nazarene in CCC play on the road Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. Gordon won the first meeting in the season series 71-53 at home.
