LEESBURG, Fla. — Gordon played Clarkson and UMass Dartmouth in its last games at the PFX Games at Sleepy Hollow and lost to Clarkson 12-3 and lost to UMass Dartmouth 5-0.

In the first game, the Golden Knights (1-4) scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning for a 4-0 lead. The Fighting Scots (3-9) got on the board as Kali Denty was walked with the bases loaded to score Kristen Brown in the top of the third. Lily Rivera hit a sacrifice fly to centerfield to drive in Caitlin Catalanotto in the bottom of the fourth to make it a 4-2 game. Clarkson scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth with three of them coming with two outs to stretch the lead to seven runs. Rivera hit an RBI single to score Arianna Ramsaran in the top of the fifth to make it a 9-3 game. The Golden Knights scored one run in the fifth and two runs in the sixth to seal the win.

Hatchell batted 2-for-3 and Catalanotto went 1-for-2 with one run and one walk.

Jasmine Mullally and Brown combined for two strikeouts.

In the second game, the Corsairs (7-4-) got on the board in the top of the third as they scored four runs for a 4-0 lead. They added another run in the top of the fourth to stretch the lead to five runs. Gordon left three runners on base and had two hits in the first six innings. In the bottom of the seventh, the Fighting Scots put two runners on base with two outs. Their last two batters popped out and struck out to clinch the win for UMass Dartmouth.

Meredith Kercher, Catalanotto, and Ramsaran all batted 1-for-3.

Catalanotto pitched a complete game and recorded six strikeouts.

Gordon returns to Massachusetts to take on Lasell on the road March 20 at 3 p.m.
