WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Salem State in non-conference play at the Brigham Complex Tennis Courts and swept them 9-0.
The Fighting Scots (8-8) went 6-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play against the Vikings (2-11).
In singles competition,
Katherine Jeffreys defeated Madeline Allaire 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 1,
Gabrielle Brucker defeated Meredith Macdonald 6-0, 6-3 at the No. 2,
Caitlin Kwok defeated Caroline Robitaille 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 3,
Emily Ontiveros defeated Kristin Klimowicz 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 4,
Courtney Barlotta defeated Alexis Alli 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 5, and
Victoria Kaznowski defeated Liana Angelis 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 6.
In doubles play,
Maddie Berry/Brucker defeated Allaire/Macdonald 9-7 at the No. 1, Jeffreys/Kwok defeated Robitaille/Klimowicz 8-0 at the No. 2, and Ontiveros/Kaznowski defeated Alli/Angelis 8-1 at the No. 3.
Gordon closes out their spring season with a home match against Franklin Pierce April 16 at 3:30 p.m.
