WENHAM, Mass. — Gordon hosted Regis in its fall season opener at the Brigham Athletic Complex and fell 7-2.
The Fighting Scots (0-1) went 2-4 in singles play and 0-3 in doubles play against the Pride (1-1).
In singles competition,
Nathan Lookwhy defeated Sebastian Torres 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 1, Luke Horton defeated
Kristopher Marineau 6-4, 6-7, 10-5 at the No. 2, Nolan Bebarta defeated
Will Jeffreys 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 3,
Matt McEathron defeated Johnny Pallotta 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 4, Cam Charbonneau defeated
Patrick Monahan 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 5, and Matt DaRosso defeated
Richard Ryzi 7-6, 6-0 at the No. 6.
In doubles competition, Horton/Torres defeated Lookwhy/Marineau 8-2 at the No. 1, Bebarta/Pallotta defeated McEathron/Monahan 8-4 at the No. 2, and Dugat/Pelissier defeated Jeffreys/Rysi 9-7 at the No. 3.
Gordon next hosts Springfield in non-conference play Oct. 3 at 4 p.m.
