- The Golden Bears gained their largest lead of the game with just under seven minutes to play in the third quarter when a Chadwick layup put them up by 21.
- Though Gordon cut WNE's lead to nine with just under six minutes to play in regulation after two made free throws by Gibbs, WNE closed out the final minutes with a 9-2 run to claim the 17-point W.
