In Gordon College Men's Tennis action today, the Fighting Scots battled to a 3-6 defeat against Greenville University during their spring break play in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Greenville got on the board quickly, jumping out to a 2-0 lead before Gordon's No. 1 team of Nathan Lookwhy and Jonathan Frink gutted out an 8-5 victory to trail 2-1 going into singles.

Lookwhy and Frink each grabbed wins in their respective singles position with Frink fighting to the better end of a tiebreaker against Greenville's Zach Plocher (Sr.Highland, Ill.). No. 4's Austin Burkhart (Jr./Albion, Mich.) took the next set over Gordon's Will Jeffreys, followed by Greenville Panther Tyler Blume (Fr./Spring Arbor, Mich.) clinching No. 6 singles to mark the victory for the black and orange.

Gordon has two more matches during their spring break expedition, facing LeTourneau tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. and Lake Forest on Thursday, March 14 with a 3:30 p.m. start time.
