The Fighting Scots begin Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Friday, March 22, as they travel into Boston to face Wentworth for a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m.
Game One
- With two outs and no one on, Lakeland hit a pair of doubles which allowed two runners to cross the plate to take a 2-0 lead heading into the top of the fifth.
- In the top of the sixth, Lily Rivera knocked in Laura Bieren putting up the Scots' first run of the game to cut the lead in half. Megan Jenkerson laced a double to the left side, placing the tying run at second with one out. Down to their last out, Bieren knocked Jenkerson home to tie the game up at 2-2.
- The game went into extras, putting the international tie-breaker rule in place (putting the last out of the previous inning on second). Again down to their last out, Jenkerson pulled a single through the left side, scoring Rivera to take the 3-2 led and eventual win in the ninth.
- Bieren and Arianna Ramsaran each had three hits in the victory, while Jenkerson had two. Starter Caitlin Catalanatto went 9.0 innings, giving up five hits, and only surrendering a pair of runs.
Game Two
- In the bottom of the second, Rivera laced a double down the left field line, scoring Ramsaran for the game's first run. The Scots held the 1-0 lead until the top of the sixth when Bowdoin strung together four hits, plating a pair of runs to get on top, 2-1.
- Gordon got a run back in the bottom of the seventh but it wasn't enough as Bowdoin took the 5-2 victory.
- Jasmine Mullally went 6.2 innings, striking out seven.
