Gordon College Men's Lacrosse hosted foe Endicott College in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) duel this afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex and were dealt an 18-7 loss to move to 3-5 overall on the season. The win improves the Gulls to 3-6 overall and a perfect 2-0 in the CCC.
Gordon's Nick Tozier had a team-high three goals, while Nate Distasio added a pair in the effort.
For the Gulls, Matthew Faucher (Sr./Western Springs, Ill.) and Mike Sudora (Jr./Monroe, Conn.) each netted a hat trick, while Jack Sutherland (So./Sudbury, Mass.) tossed in two goals and as many assists.
How It Happened
- The Gulls outscored the Fighting Scots in the first with eight unanswered tallies to take a commanding lead heading into the second. They went on to record four more before Gordon's Tozier and Miller found an opening to add one goal each to put the Scots on the board.
- A low scoring third quarter brought the score to 14-3 heading into the final frame. Endicott tossed in three straight before the Scots went on a 4-0 run to give a spark of hope, but the comeback fell short as the Gulls added one more tally en route to the the 11-goal victory.
