Box Score Gordon College Men's Tennis hit the road for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest against the Seahawks of Salve Regina in Newport, Rhode Island this afternoon and returned to Massachusetts with a 9-0 victory to start off CCC play with a 1-0 record.

Nathan Lookwhy and Jonathan Frink topped Salve Regina's No. 1 doubles, 8-0 to give the Scots a 1-0 lead. Gordon's No. 3 and No. 2 doubles squad rounded out the doubles sweep with both spots taking a 8-3 victory over the Seahawks.

Rolling into singles competition already with a 3-0 advantage, the Scots kept their momentum going, routing their opponents in each set, with Lookwhy and Kristopher Marineau getting the early victories for Gordon to secure the match. 

The Scots return to the courts on Tuesday, April 2 as they head back to Rhode Island but this time to Bristol to take on Roger Williams for a 4 p.m. start.
