Gordon College Women's Tennis welcomed the Hawks from Roger Williams this afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. The visitors defeated the Scots by a score of 7-2 to improve to 11-1 on the season while the Scots drop to 4-3.

The Hawks cleaned up in No. 3 and No. 2 doubles, but the Scots fought back in No. 1 doubles as Maddex and Annette Kim bested their counterparts, 8-6 to give Gordon their first point of the day.

Despite a valiant effort from the Fighting Scots and an exciting victory in No. 1 singles from Maddex, the Hawks were able to build upon their 2-1 doubles advantage en route to a 7-2 victory. 

Before today's match, the Fighting Scots honored seniors, Jordyn Maddex, Stephanie Trolice, and Madison West.

Gordon returns to the courts on Saturday, October 16 as they travel into Boston to play Suffolk University.
