Hosting the Emerson College Lions in their 2021-22 debut, Gordon College Women's Basketball were bested by the visitors, 81-58. 

For the Scots, Cara Andreotti led the effort with 17 points, Ami Rivera recorded 11 points, while Madison Wynbeek added nine points while bringing down eight rebounds. 

The Lions' win was spearheaded by Devin Hill who netted 20 points and Ava Salti who contributed 11 points on the day. 

How It Happened

• Andreotti sunk three field goals for the blue and white to pace their 17-10 first quarter edge. 
• In the second quarter, Emerson began to battle back, outscoring the Scots 13-2 to go on top 24-19 midway through the quarter. The Lions continued to add to their lead, taking a 41-21 lead at the break.
• Emerson led by as many as 19 in the third, but a Rivera three pointer in the final seconds of the frame cut the deficit to 12.
• Despite their best efforts, the Fighting Scots were not able to regain the lead as the visitors came out with an 81-58 win.

• The Fighting Scots return to Kanas Court on Friday, November 12 as they host Coast Guard at 7 p.m. for the Gordon Classic.
