Traveling to Dudley, Massachusetts this evening for a matchup against the Nichols College Bison, the Gordon College Women's Basketball team battled for 40 minutes, but the Bison came out on top, 74-60.
Caroline Sikkink and
Abby Vampatella netted 19 and 18 points, respectively,
Serianna Anderson brought down 13 rebounds while scoring 11, while
Caleigh Williams booked nine boards and seven points.

Shannon St. Lawrence registered 10 points and as many rebounds.
How It Happened
- The Scots and Bison knotted up at five, seven, and nine points in the opening minutes before the Bison pulled away midway through the first to end the quarter with a comfortable 22-15 lead.
- Nearly going point for point in the second, the Scots were never able to gain an edge and Nichols maintained the upper hand at the half with a 37-28 advantage.
- In the early minutes of the third, the Scots plowed ahead, going on a 7-0 run to close the gap to four.
- The Bison again answered back leading by as many as 10 in the third before the Scots were again able to shrink the deficit to just four points, two minutes into the final frame. However, the home team continued to keep the Scots from getting any closer as the Bison grabbed the 74-60 W.

- The Scots look to even out the series with a 1 p.m. matchup tomorrow against the Bison in the Bennett Center.
- Serianna Anderson booked her first career double-double as well as recording a career-high 13 rebounds.
- Caroline Sikkink recorded her second double-double on the season.
