Box Score Gordon College Men's Tennis traveled to Dudley, Massachusetts this afternoon to square off against a tough Nichols College team for the first contest of the 2021 season. Despite their best efforts, the Fighting Scots fell 3-6.

Getting a W early for the Scots was the No. 3 double duo of Alex Ryzi and Matt McEathron who doubled up their counterparts by a score of 8-4. Gordon's No. 1 partners Will Jeffreys and John Marineau were narrowly edged out of another W for the blue and white, 7-8 (2-7).

Jeffreys came into singles looking to bounce back and the senior did, defeating the Bison's No. 1 Niklas Keohne , 7-6, 1-6, 6-2. Getting the third point for Gordon was A. Ryzi who got the better of Lane Parks, 7-6, 6-2.

The Scots are back on the court on Saturday, March 27 as they open Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play at Endicott College.
