Anna Rathbun assisted on a pair of Oliveira goals. Defensively,
Katelyn Pelletier made 12 saves.
For the Bison, Mackenzie Doran, Carlee Tolley, and Sam Ahaesy each registered a goal for Nichols.
How It Happened
- Nearly six minutes into the first quarter, Rathbun found Oliveira who put the Scots on the board, 1-0. Bison's Anthony sent the equalizer into the back of the net to make it 1-1 with just over a minute to go in the first.
- Not tied for long, just 90 seconds into the second frame, Oliveira ripped her second goal of the day thanks to a nice pass from Goudie, doubling up their opponents, 2-1.
- The 2-1 Scot lead would remain for the rest of the half until Oliveira struck again, as the junior extended Gordon's lead to 3-1 in the 38th minute.
- Making it an exciting finish, the Bison scored their second goal of the day at 58:44. Twenty two seconds later, Goudie answered back with a goal of her own to make it 4-2, but the Bison again knocked another goal in to make it a one-score game. However, that was all the excitement the Brigham Athletic Complex could handle as the Fighting Scots took home the 4-3 victory.
