- Gordon started the second half off strong with a jumper from Sattazahn and a three-pointer from Zachary Bennett.
- The Colonels cut the deficit to eight points off a Vargus jumper at the 11:34 mark, but that was the closest they would get as the Scots caught steam, going on a 13-0 run to lead by 21.
- In the final minutes, Gordon continued to maintain the upper hand, finishing off the contest outscoring their hosts 14-6 to secure the 90-67 W.
Beyond The Box Score
- Gordon's bench made their presence known, scoring more than half of the Scots' points (49 of 90).
- Zach Quanico registered a career-high with 15 points. Additionally, Justin Yu also notched a career-high with his 14 points.
- Said Head Coach Tod Murphy: "We started slow again in this game, but our bench really picked things up when they came in the game. Zach Quanico and Justin Yu each went 4-5 from three point range, and that kept Curry at bay. Although we had a few mental mistakes defensively, I was pleased with our overall defense in the first two games. All in all, I am very pleased with how we played the first two games."
