Box Score Gordon College Men's Tennis hosted the Curry College Colonels today at the Brigham Athletic Complex where the Fighting Scots handed the visitors a 9-0 loss. 

In doubles competition, Will Jeffreys and John Marineau paired up to blank Curry's No. 1 pair, 8-0 for the Scots' first win of the day. Richard Ryzi and Mark Noschese defeated their No. 2 counterparts, 8-2 before the Scots were awarded their third win in doubles as Curry had to default in the No. 3 slot.

Already with a commanding 3-0 edge, Gordon needed just two more wins to take the match. The Scots took two plus some as No. 1 Jeffreys topped his opponent (6-3, 6-3), Marineau won No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-2), Ryzi took the (6-0, 6-3) victory, and Noschese blanked his No. 4 matchup (6-0, 6-0). Gordon again got the wins due to Curry defaults in No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

The Scots return to action on Wednesday, April 14 on the road against the Endicott College Gulls.
