Box Score Hosting the Colby College Mules at the Brigham Athletic Complex tonight, Gordon College Men's Soccer was edged by the visitors, 2-0. The Scots even out their overall record to 2-2 after dropping tonight's battle against the Mules. 

How It Happened

• Early in the match, the Mules took advantage of a penalty kick awarded to them after a foul just inside the box. Ethan Franco stepped up to the line and ripped it in past Gordon keeper Brody Veleber to give the visitors the 1-0 advantage.
• The Fighting Scots answered back aggressively with five more shots in the half. Despite many attacks from the Mules, Gordon's defense held strong, finishing the half down by one. The Mules offense combated in the second half with 11 shots but could not penetrate the Scots' solid defense. It wasn't until the 79th minute, when Colby's Josh Rubin secured his own rebounded shot and powered another shot in the corner of the net to extend the Mule's lead to 2-0 and secure the overall two-goal victory.
