Gordon College Women's Basketball traveled to Bristol, Rhode Island for a rescheduled Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest against the Roger Williams Hawks this evening who have been recently ranked 24
th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division III Poll. The Fighting Scots were defeated by their hosts, 85-31.
For the Scots,
Caleigh Williams collected a game-high 14 rebounds while also adding eight points and teammate
Cara Andreotti had 10 points.
Katie Galligan spearheaded the victory for the Hawks with 22 points and nine assists,
Karli Opalka netted 14 points, and
Caroline Elie chipped in 10 points.
How It Happened
- RWU came out of the gates aggressively, tallying nine fast break points to lead by 15 points after the first quarter and carried the momentum into the second quarter to bring the score to 47-17 at the half.
- Continuing to find the bottom of the net in the third, RWU put up 26 points for the second straight quarter, widening their lead to 49 before taking the eventual 54-point win.

- Cara Andreotti has now scored 10 or more points in seven games this season.
