How It Happened
- After two quick buckets from Omslaer in the opening 60 seconds, the Scots continued to roll, getting key baskets from Massillon, Justin Yu, and Omslaer once again to stretch the lead to 11-5 three and a half minutes into the half.  The Colonels soon came back within three but another three from Yu and a layup from Caleb Scot put the blue and white in control, 21-12 with 12:34 on the clock. Curry slowly chipped away and cut the deficit to two before Gordon's Makiej and Smith widen the gap to seven leading to a three minute drought on offense for both sides. Breaking out of their scoring rut, Curry tallied the next 10 points of the contest to go on top in the final minutes of the half. However, a pair of layups from Smith gave Gordon the advantage heading into the half, 38-35.
- Seven minutes into the half, Tebbs hit a three from downtown to give Gordon its biggest lead of the game (14 points) before Caleb Scott added to the total with a layup and free throw of his own to give Gordon a 17-point cushion with 11:25 remaining. The Scots continued to pour it on the Colonels and at the 5:18 mark, Omslaer became the newest member of the Gordon College Men's Basketball 1,000 Point Club, as the graduate student scored his 1,001th point. Not letting the foot off the gas, Gordon led by as many as 26 before coming away with the 22-point conference win.
