For their final contest of the regular season, Gordon College Men's Soccer welcomed the Colonels of Curry College to the Brigham Athletic Complex for an afternoon Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tilt where Noah Martin recorded a hat trick to lift the Fighting Scots to a 3-1 win over the Colonels.

How It Happened

• Noah Martin fought off a Curry defender to steal possession of the ball right outside the 18' and ripped in a shot past the diving Curry keeper to put his squad on top, 1-0 just 17 minutes into the first half. 
• Curry's Ean McGonigle looked as though he was going to get the equalizer but Gordon keeper Gunnar Lucuk came out to make an excellent save to keep the Colonels off the board. 
• In the 38th minute, Evan Welser found Martin on the far right post who knocked in his second tally of the afternoon to widen the gap to two goals heading into halftime. 
• Cutting the lead in half midway through the second half, Curry's Giovanni Martins curled a corner kick directly into the netting for his third goal of the season.
• Then, with just under nine minutes to go in regulation, Martin once again found the back of the net thanks to a feed from Adrian Chiang to extend the lead once again and secure the final 3-1 victory.

• Noah Martin netted his first goals of the season in today's contest, including his first collegiate hat trick. 
• The Fighting Scots moved into seventh place and will host the No. 8 seeded Wentworth Leopards on Thursday, October 27 at 4 p.m. at the Brigham Athletic Complex.
