Gordon College Women's Soccer took on the Curry College Colonels in the final game of the regular season in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action this evening at the Brigham Athletic Complex. Playing under extreme fog conditions, the Fighting Scots netted a pair of goals to secure the 2-0 shutout over the Colonels. 

How It Happened

• After a scoreless first half, rookie Ava Forbes-Smith ripped in a shot from just outside the box into the upper corner to give the Fighting Scots the 1-0 edge in the 51st minute. 
• The Fighting Scots continued to put their foot on the gas, firing off 11 shots before Alexa Weindorf fed teammate Kendra Wentling who knocked one in the net to widen the gap to two goals.
• Tori Paine made a couple timely saves with under 10 minutes to go in regulation to preserve the 2-0 shutout victory over the Colonels.

• Ava Forbes-Smith and Kendra Wentling has now scored in back-to-back games.
• The Fighting Scots will keep their eyes pealed for the CCC postseason playoff picture upon conclusion of all games tonight.
