How It Happened
- It was scoreless for nearly two minutes before Framingham net the first basket of the game at 18:07 before Sattazahn single-handedly put his team on his back to score the first 12 points for the blue and white to go on top, 12-10 with 13:25 remaining. The Scots' next 15 points came from three-point land with nine of those threes coming from the hand of Quanico (27-16). The Rams shrunk the deficit to single-digits twice but the Fighting Scots continued to pour it on as they took a 42-29 lead at the half.
- The Scots continued their momentum over into the second half as Makiej immediately extended his squads lead after a pair of layups (46-29), moments before Sattazahn hit one from behind the arc at the 16:49 mark to take a 21-point lead 52-31. The Fighting Scots could not be stopped as they went on to take a massive 32-point lead with 11:05 remaining after a Quanico three which catalyzed a short run of baskets from downtown from Ryan Tertel and Quanico (76-40). The Rams attempted to close the gap, but the Scots held tight to their comfortable lead, taking the eventual 89-61 victory.Â
