The Gordon College Women's Tennis team kicked off their 2022 spring season on a high note as the Fighting Scots defeated the visiting Eastern Nazarene Lions at the Manchester Athletic Club this evening, 9-0.

The Scots did not drop a set in doubles as the blue and white cruised to a trio of 8-0 victories entering into singles competitions with a 3-0 lead.

In doubles, Madison West, Kristen Kendall, and Meli Markarian all went 6-0, 6-0 in their respective singles positions. Annette Kim secured a 6-4, 6-2 win at the No. 1 spot, Abbigail Fournier booked a 6-1, 6-1 W, while newcomer Joey Keltner came out on top in her tennis debut as the freshman recorded a 6-2, 6-0 win.

Next up for Gordon is a matchup against Catholic in Hilton Head on Monday, March 7 at 12 p.m.
