In their final game of the 2022 season, Gordon College Men's Lacrosse hosted the Salve Regina Seahawks (SRU) at the Brigham Athletic Complex where the visitors defeated the Fighting Scots, 19-6.
Marco Fernandez led the way for the Scots with three goals,
Joel Bean added two, while Kobi Bean ripped in one. In net,
Colin Liscomb booked a staggering 24 saves.

How It Happened
- SRU got it started just over one and a half minutes in to take the 1-0 lead. Neither side was able to light up the scoreboard for the next seven minutes until the Seahawks made it 2-0 at the 6:22 mark. The visitors tacked on two more to end the first quarter up, 4-0.
- After James Wheeler scooped up a ground ball to lead the clear attempt for the blue and white, Bean put the Scots on the board as the junior ripped one into the back of the net just over two minutes into the second frame. SRU answered back with two more goals before Fernandez netted his first of the night (2-6). The Seahawks widened the gap with another score with 38 tick left until halftime to take the five goal lead (7-2).
- In the third and fourth, SRU rattled in 12 more goals while Gordon put four away in the final 30 minutes of regulation.
