Gordon College Men's Soccer returned to the Brigham Athletic Complex this evening as they invited the Husson University Eagles for a non-Conference match up. After getting on top early, the Fighting Scots remained in the driver's seat until Husson was able to tie it up in the second to end in a stalemate, 1-1. 

How It Happened

• The Scots wasted no time getting on the board as Benji Dahlke sent a long ball from deep in the Scots' end to find George Coogan IV who one-timed the single-hopper it to the back of the net just 6:16 ticks into the game. In the remainder of the half, both squads were able to get three shots in each before heading into the second, 0-1 in favor of the Fighting Scots.
• Coming back from the break, Gordon continued to command the turf as the Eagles were unable to penetrate, however, it wasn't until a Scot miscue brought the score to one-all. With 22:12 remaining in regulation, neither team was able to break the draw, ending in a 1-1 deadlock.

• The Fighting Scots return to Conference action on Saturday, September 24 when they travel to Bristol, Rhode Island to battle the Hawks of Roger Williams University at 12 p.m.
