Returning to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play today, Gordon College Women's took the short trip to Beverly for a league match against the Endicott College Gulls. The Gulls got on a roll early and never looked back, taking the 8-1 win over the Fighting Scots.
Endicott swept doubles and went on to seal the deal with a win in No. 5 singles (5-0). Despite the match already in hand for the Gulls, Gordon's
Annette Kim was laser focused and went point for point at the No. 1 singles position. The junior took down her counterpart (6-3, 7-6, 8-6) for the lone victory for the blue and white.
The Fighting Scots return to action on Saturday, October 1 to celebrate homecoming and senior day with a match against the Suffolk University Rams at 11 a.m.
