CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT RELEASE

As announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) today, Gordon College Men's Soccer's student-athletes Noah Martin (business administration, finance), Benny Simpson (international affairs), Nathan Starzl (finance), and Benji Wright (finance) have been selected to the 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team for their standout work both on the field and in the classroom. 

In order to be acknowledged with this prestigious honor, a student-athlete must obtain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have at least sophomore academic standing. 

All four Fighting Scots played an integral role in an 8-2-6 record en route to a No. 3 seed in conference play. Wright played his way to the Player of the Year award while Martin secured second team honors.

This marks the second straight year that Martin and Wright have earned this honor and the first time Simpson and Starzl were honored.
