Gordon College Women's Basketball took to Kanas Court this evening for a battle of the North Shore with the Salem State Vikings. A strong second half from the Vikings secured the 76-67 win over the Fighting Scots. 

For Gordon, Ami Rivera netted 17 points, Olivia Brown added 16, while Sydney Noyes grabbed 10 rebounds with eight points.

Nicolette D'Itria had 20 points for the Vikings, followed by Abuk Teng who added 17.

How It Happened

• After the first quarter ended at a 14-14 stalemate, the Scots came back in the second frame to hold a 32-23 lead at halftime.
• Coming out of the break, the Vikings went full speed ahead, scoring 29 points in the third quarter to flip the script and lead by four (54-48) going into the final quarter.
• An A. Rivera jumper made it a two-point game in the opening minutes of the fourth, but the visitors regained a double digit cushion en route to the win.

Beyond The Box Score

• Brynn Barnhard tied her career-high with three assists.
• The Scots return to action on Wednesday, November 29 to play the Suffolk University Rams at home to open up conference play at 5:30 p.m.
